How long are your warranties for exterior paint jobs?
We offer 5 year warranties on two-coat exterior house painting projects that use a mid- to high-grade paint as long as the wood has a good overall integrity (i.e. does not need to be replaced.) If the wood itself is compromised beyond what normal prep can do, we need to actually replace that wood for the warranty to cover said area.
We also offer extended 8-year warranty option on homes that go with a top-of-the line treatment and are in overall good shape. If your home is newer and this is it’s first or second coat of paint, we can upgrade that to a 10-year warranty. Please keep in mind that based on the level of prep we perform and statistics on how long paint jobs last in Michigan, you can expect our average paint job to last 50-75% longer than the warranty itself. (I.e. a 5-year warrantied job should last at least 7.5-9 years.)
